First, you’ll need to gather together your ingredients. The items you’ll need for this dish are fairly simple and can be found at virtually any grocery store or market.
The ingredients you’ll need to make Thai Peanut Noodle in your power pressure cooker are 1 pound of egg noodle and fettuccini nest; 12 ounces of Thai peanut sauce; 2.5 cups of water; 8 ounces of cooked chicken strips; 3 cloves of garlic, sliced; 1 clove onion, sliced; 1 tablespoon grape seed oil; 1 tablespoon scallions; 2 ounces of cilantro, chopped; some lime juice and some salt and pepper.
Now it’s time for the fun part. Not only will your power pressure cooker make Thai Peanut Noodle that taste great, it will also do so in less time and by using less energy.
Start by placing the inner pot into your power pressure cooker. Then press the “Rice” button to set the time to six minutes. Now it’s time to add the oil, as well as sauté the onion and garlic for a minute. Then add the chicken and add the water, peanut sauce, and stir. Add in the noodles and place the lid on the power pressure cooker. Lock the lid and switch the pressure valve to “Closed.” After the time reaches zero, the power pressure cooker should automatically switch over to “Keep Warm” mode. Once this happens, press the “Cancel” button to completely release the steam. Once all the steam is released you can remove the lid.
